Program Assistant

Vanderbilt University Kennedy Center
September 1999 to December 1999

Vanderbilt University's Kennedy Center for Research on Human Development improves the quality of life of persons with developmental disorders through scientific research. The Kennedy Center brings together leading scientists and practitioners in behavior, education, genetics, and neuroscience to solve the mysteries of development and learning.

I had the opportunity to work at the Kennedy Center between my first employment and rehire with Blueridge/mindwrap. At the Kennedy Center, I worked as a program assistant for the Grants Development group. I edited materials for grant applications and coordinated the application process with research scientists. To streamline the application process, I converted paper-based government forms to online PDF forms.
