In most all of my positions, I have been asked to write copy for, edit, and design marketing documents. For Education Networks of America, I created a set of brochures for the whole product line. Copy writing exercises a different side of the brain, of course, than technical documentation. I've stretched my gray matter on a range of marketing materials, including press releases, case studies, product guides, white papers, and RFP responses.
