Ordering News Items

News items appear on your site's homepage in a headline group. You can change the order of items in a headline group.

Note: This feature is enabled for specific departments. If you need access to this feature, submit a help request to NIS.

To order news items, follow these steps:

1. Select Order in the primary navigation. The news items on your homepage are displayed in their current order:
   
2. To move an item up or down in the order, enter a new number in the field for that item. Note: You do not need to change the numbers in all the fields. If you move an item up, the items in and below that slot will move down. If you move an item down, the items in and above that slot will move up.
3. Click Save. The page refreshes to show the new order.

Note: Changes to the item order appear on your homepage as soon as you click Save.
