Computing Web serves the Boston University community as the gateway for all technology services and support offered by the University. The previous version of the site was a single-page index.

Site statistics include:

  • 92 pages
  • 331 links (not including graphics)
  • 97,000 page requests per month

Audience

The audience is the entire University community, including students, faculty, and staff. A small percentage of users come from outside the University.

Responsibilities

I met with stakeholders, interviewed users, performed card sorting, developed the information architecture, developed the site (managing student employees who assisted with development), and ensured that the end results met project goals.

Note: The look and feel of the site is based on a University template design, which influenced the site's navigation scheme.
